<p><b>Ramesh Balasubramaniam OAM</b></p><p><b>BSc, BDSc (UWA), MS, Cert Orofacial Pain (UKy), Cert Oral Medicine (UPenn), MRACDS (OralMed), ABOP, FDS RCPS(Glasg), FOMAA, FADI, FPFA, FICD</b></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Ramesh Balasubramaniam is an Oral Medicine Specialist with expertise in temporomandibular disorders, orofacial pain and dental sleep medicine. He has numerous peer reviewed publications, co-authored several chapters, and co-edited and co-authored two books notably “Contemporary Oral Medicine”. In addition, he serves as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals. Ramesh is associate professor and discipline lead in Oral Medicine at the University of Western Australia, Dental School and is actively involved in teaching and research. He has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally.&nbsp;For his ongoing contributions to dentistry, he has received a number of awards including fellowships in the International College of Dentists, the Academy of Dentistry International, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2021.&nbsp;Ramesh was president of the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia (2019-2022). He also has public appointments at the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia and the Perth Children’s Hospital.</p><p> &nbsp;</p>

Sue is an Oral Medicine Specialist, and maintains a specialist private practice in Sydney.&nbsp; She has appointments at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. Sue is the President-Elect of the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia (2019-2022). She is committed to continuing education in the field of Oral Medicine, lecturing frequently, and authoring peer-reviewed papers and textbook chapters. Her clinical interests lie in oral mucosal disease, and salivary gland hypofunction.&nbsp;<div><br> <div><p><b>Tami Yap</b></p><p>BDSc (Hons) DCD PhD FRACDS FOMAA</p> Tami Yap is anAustralian oral medicine specialist and academic at the University of Melbourne, Australia.&nbsp;&nbsp; She holds clinical positions at the Alfred Hospital and Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and is part of multidisciplinary teams at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Skin Health Institute. Her PhD and&nbsp; translational research focus is in oral mucosal disease and early detection of oral cancer.<br><p></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>S R Prabhu</b> is an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry, Brisbane. His expertise is in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Medicine, with a particular interest in tropical oral diseases. Professor Prabhu formerly held senior academic positions in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology at university dental schools in India, Kenya, Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and UAE and administrative positions as Director and Dean of Dental Schools in Trinidad and Tobago West Indies, and the UAE, respectively. He is a Fellow of the dental faculties Royal Colleges of Surgeons in the UK and Ireland and the International College of Dentists. He was an external examiner for the dental membership examinations of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.&nbsp; He received the Commonwealth Medical Scholarship awarded by the British Council and the Rotary Foundation award for teaching in developing countries. Professor Prabhu has conducted workshops on HIV/AIDS for oral healthcare professionals in several countries in the Asian and Caribbean regions and published several papers in refereed journals, edited/co-edited, and authored/co-authored over 15 books.
